Biography: Richard Moore
Richard has over thirty years of international experience in the energy industries. Richard began his career in the mid 1980′s with Esso-BHP on the Bass Strait oil & gas fields in Australia. Later, he moved to the UK where he worked for operators BP and BG, and subsequently engineering contractors and consultants; Brown & Root (KBR), and Granherne. Richard returned to Australia in 2001 where he worked with Woodside until 2011, and later, Fluor Australia.
Richard founded Rasmax Consultants in 2011, and subsequently SubCool Technology Pty Ltd in 2015.
Richard has earned Master’s degrees in both Chemical Engineering (University of Melbourne) and Business (London Business School).
Richards strengths include managing new technology, concept and feasibility studies, and the integration of engineering and business drivers, to deliver outstanding and innovative solutions. He has experience coordinating a diverse range of disciplines from engineering, including naval architecture, metocean, geotechnics, power, subsea, pipelines, and others from geoscience to business.
Richard was a semi-finalist, at the 2015 WA Innovator of the Year awards, winner – best poster at APPEA 2016 conference, and winner of the Subsea Energy Australia award for innovation and technology in 2016. He holds several global patents.
